My black velvet gave me some corms/bulbs and I want to know how I can get them to grow effectively. I have sphagnum moss peat and perlite, I don’t have access to just sphagnum moss at the moment, any idea of what I can do?

Most of mine rotted in sphagnum. I know others have success. Maybe I just put too much water. I now rinsed and drained perlite and domed.
0 Me gustaYes! This is what I was looking for, someone who actually has active growth in their bulbs. I will take the bulbs and put them in some damp perlite. Do you use a grow light or maybe just a window with direct-bright indirect light?
1 me gustaSo I don’t got perlite, I was thinking of using rice because in my head that makes sense (let me know if that is actually dumb lol). But are there any other alternatives to get these to sprout?
0 Me gustaJk I am actually stupid and realized I can use soil lol
1 me gustaDon’t do rice. It absorbs water and will mold probably 🤣 just use water! No need for substrate! Check my other comment on this post!
0 Me gustaMine get direct sun light for probably an hour a day! Indirect the rest. I didn’t have luck with the grow light first time around. Not enough heat generated. I actually have 3 other corms in a water bottle with barely any water in my car cup holder. They’re sprouting the fastest yet. lol I’ll share tomorrow
1 me gustaNO! It’s MUCH appreciated! I put two in some perlite I’ll put the other two in like yours and just leave it in the car🙌
