Hello, I need some advice with propagating my monstera esqueleto. Should I trim off the bottom leaves so that I can place these in larger cups of water? Thank you in advance.

I only take off the leaves that would be in the water (at the node im expecting to get roots), because they are prone to rotting if theyre left in the water. As long as the node you want roots from is in water (no leaves), it has no bearing how much internode is in the water. If you wanted more roots, you could remove the leaves at the next node and then have two nodes in the water. But really just a preference thing. Some of my water props are in less than 1/2" water with 1 leafless node. It just means I have to top off their water more usually.
