Hi, I started growing a few jalapeños about a month ago, how often should I water and fertilize them? Planta is saying every 3 days, but I’m not sure on that. So far I’ve been watering them when the soil gets dry.

    My peppers are just over a month old as well. I kept the soil wet by bottom watering for the first month. Seedlings need a ton of water at the beginning to develop a root system, and until they develop a couple set of leaves you should keep the soil wet, don’t let it go dry. I also haven’t fertilized at all so far

    I’m not sure about the jalapeños, but I would use Planta as a reminder to check them, not as a demand
