Hi there! New to the group and have a few questions! Had a semi large burros tail that became very hydrophobic and decided to repot with fresh soil and it was just not working for whatever reason, I lost a lot of leaves trying to repot and now I’m left with this. They are sitting in a south east window with a grow light above them to help once the sun moves. My questions are, how often should I water them? Do they need to be covered for humidity to help them root? I ran out of patience with the two bottoms dishes so would it better to space them out (like the first one) or would leaving it like that do any harm? Any feedback would be sooo appreciated as this is stressing me out and do not want to fail for who knows how many times already! 😊

Mist them well, once daily, don’t water them by pouring water on them - it takes too long for the soil to dry without any roots to soak it up. I will post a pic of how mine look after about a month of daily misting.

I forgot to add that they do not need to be covered for humidity. Misting them and letting them dry in between is perfect for them to grow. Have patience - it takes time for them to start rooting and then longer for them to start growing, but with the amount of leaves you have there, you could end up with countless props. If a leaf is rotting or dried right out, toss it but keep anything that still looks like a healthy leaf.

Thank you so much for all the Info! I’ll definitely do as you say and hope for the best!

I had them all laid out nicely but the misting blew them out of position. The roots may become a little tangled so just be gentle when you are finally able to take them out and plant them. You can see most of mine have roots and many are growing now. This is after almost a month.
