❔ First time propagating - I repotted two of my Pothos and decided to propagate a few pieces that I accidentally broke off 😬 I put them in a little jar of water. We'll see how they do. I hear it takes a few weeks for roots to grow. Any tips here? Also, I have these two leaves from a succulent I have (Echeveria, I believe). Do you think these would propagate? If so, how can I do so? Thanks loves! 🫶

For the Pothos, it should be relatively quick compared to some plants but it’s still awaiting game haha they’re all different🥰 for the succulent I would recommend sticking it in almost completely dry dirt that has maybe just been misted slightly. That is how I have propagated some of my succulents in the past and they’ve done well! Happy propagating ❤️🌷

For the Pothos, just make sure you’re cuttings include the nodes (picture bellow)! If or when you grow some roots and decide to repot it, remember it takes a little bit for them to get acclimated to soil, so just make the soil a little extra moist, not soaking though to make sure they can acclimate well from water to soil.

Generally for succulent prop you need the base of the leaf to be there, since that’s where the embryo is. I still like trying to propagate them to see what happens, but the likelihood is pretty low. You’d have to have a mutation where the embryo wasn’t at the base.
