I have the Aloe, he lost his leaves from black at the bottom of each. I think he had mites but can I save him?? Propagation or something?

U dont think so... it looks rotted
0 LikesSo you think he's done for?
0 LikesI dont know if you can prop an aloe... but i really dont know how or if you can prop
0 LikesMaybe cut off pieces that are not rotted, like further up the leaf, and propagate those? I'm pretty sure that's viable. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm incorrect. I hope you can save him.
0 LikesI think that’s your only option tbh. Your aloe looks like it has root rot but you should take it out of the pot and see if the roots are mushy. If it has any firm roots then you could remove the rotten bits and replant. Otherwise it’s the above method to try. Good luck 🤞🏼
0 LikesLooks like crown rot. You got water between the leaves.
0 LikesOh, yes I did. I didn't know that was bad 😅 can it recover from that?
0 LikesNo you can’t come back from crown rot. But I would try and water propagate the shoots.
1 LikeYou can cut the tips off. Callus, and prop them. It's not as successful as division for them. But it's possible.
