Iām new to this, so I donāt if this is helpful, but mine took three months before growing any roots. It has roots now and even grew another leaf. I donāt change the water unless I absolutely have to.
2 gillningarIt can take awhile. Unfortunately plants work on their own scheduleš It doesnāt appear to be rotting, so pop it back in
3 gillningaryea itll take while especially if you didnt have any aerial nodes to start with.
1 gillaThank you 𤩠yeah they definitely do have their own schedules, I never had this problem most of my cuttings pop roots quickly enough. I got these cuttings from a friend and all of them are very stubborn! GIVE ME ROOOTS!!!! š±š¤£
5 gillningarTry putting her in a large ziploc to create a greenhouse effect, keeping her constantly warm and moist. My zebrinas absolutely loved that and i had inch roots in three days!
2 gillningari also attest to the node = rooting success, every pothos ive propagated had root notes and all successfully rooted as well, within a month or so. obviously its not dying and the leaf looks okay so maybe just continue what youre doing and see?
2 gillningarWhat I do is put a couple pothos cuttings together in the same water and I never changed the water. When it got foggy, I would pour half of it out and then add in some filtered water from my brita. The cuttings would get like a clear algae but I would just rinse it off itās nothing too harmful. Iāve been told many times that pothos release rooting hormone into the water so I try not to change it too much. I would try the multiple cuttings and then if that doesnāt work within 3-4 weeks, add in some super thrive fertilizer and if that doesnāt work then Iāve got nothing
0 gillningar^^this reply is on point. Make sure you have at minimum, two nodes under water. I ānotchā each node gently with a knife and āpaintā a little ākeiki pasteā (rooting hormone on Amazonā) before putting them in the water. I agree with not changing the water. I take out the pothos prop once in a while and gently clean the slime off under running water, then change about half of the water in the glass, and put the clipping back in to continue propping. Roots begin within 7 days for me almost every time. Pothos are one of the easiest to propagate. Also, throw a pothos prop into another plant thatās more difficult to prop, and it will help it along!
4 gillningarI have tons of golden pothos propping right now! Make sure you have nodes under water and only half water changes!
2 gillningarIt looks healthy so Iād recommend putting it back in and sprinkling some rooting hormone in it! I always do for my propagations bc itāll help speed up the process (: Iām also impatient though so idk
