Recently got this burle marxi philodendron in water… any tips on when I should move it to a pot and what pot size to use?

    it looks ready to move into a pot now if you wanted to! or wait until spring and put it in a 4 inch pot in well draining soil. it might shock it moving from water to soil so maybe tend to it a little more with the water. just keep an eye on it. also it looks like it’s a philodendron birkin! enjoy your pretty new plant baby! (:

      The store labeled it as burle marxi but I also initially thought it was a burkin… thanks for the helpful tips!!

      semi-hydro is a very effective in-between medium for transferring from water to soil. i always transfer water-rooted cuttings to perlite first and have yet to have any issues with transplant shock with this method

      Can you tell me more about this semi Hydro process? How long do you keep the plant in perlite? And then do you repot it to a perlite/soil mix?
