how does this setup look yall, the water line is under the node and the node isn’t sitting on wet perlite, i added a cup to act as a green house, it has little holes on the top for some airflow, any suggestions for improvement??

it looks pretty good! i’m not sure how necessary the top cup is, it looks like it’s constraining the leaves that are in there. were they always curled up? or are they maybe not curled anymore? just make sure it has bright indirect light as well (: good luck!!

ur probably right abt the top cup lol but the leaves given to me were already floppy and curly and still are, perhaps its because it wants water but isn’t able to absorb it bc it doesn’t have roots?? idk im just making hypothesis, but its under a grow light! thank you for ur input!!
1 me gustaThe top cup is actually beneficial if the plant has no roots because it will decrease the amount of water lost to the environment through the leaves by making a more humid space
3 Me gustaif they have been floppy and curly for a while and you’ve kept it watered, it could be too much water. its hard to say. i would maybe just have it in perlite that can drain, and keep it watered frequently. i dont know for sure though. i’m just trying to think of what has helped mine(: i hope yours continues to grow!!
0 Me gustai agree that it keeps it humid. i usually only use a little cup topper with little sprouts to help the seed root in the humidity. i just haven’t found it necessary with more developed plants because it constrains them into a tight space.
