Hi plant people! As a plant newbie, I want to say thank you for all the advice and help you give us new plant parents. Personally, I love having a community that helps and gives advice. Yeah, there’s Google and places like Better Homes & Gardens, but you never know what you’re going to get there. So thank you! Now, onto my newbie question. I’m trying to propagate a Hawaiian spider plant baby in water. It’s juuuuussstttt starting to root. My S.O. put in some bars in the kitchen so I can hang plants. I know propagation needs a lot of sun, but could I place my water/baby plant in a north facing window on a little hanger? Currently, the plant is in an east facing window on the kitchen table, but it’s trying to get any sunshine it can through a forest of plants in front of it (essentially). I wondered if it would be better to move it to a north facing window where it can get all the light that comes through (I know it’s not much) instead of scattered east light where it fights for sunshine. Would that be better for it? Any thoughts or opinions?
