I took some leaves from two succulents that were getting too tall, I set them up Dec 15, but have yet to grow roots or any other signs other than calluses. For context: they have a grow light and I’m very frugal with giving them water, if I do water I use a water dropper to the soil, no misting. Am I just being impatient with these little plants or any tips on what I might be doing wrong? Thanks!

    The soil is too dry for any roots to grow, try misting the dish regularly, letting it dry out between misting.

    I agree the soil is too dry. I water mine once a week letting most of the soil dry in between. I mist as needed to ensure there are water droplets on the cut ends every 3 to 4 days. The first roots come out within two weeks after misting.

    Also, adjust your light a bit! Direct light is too much for little bebes to grow roots. Bright is fine, as long as it’s not pointing straight at them.
