clip off at a node which are those little bumps leaves grow out of, stick it in a cup of water and in the sun, give it a few weeks or so and you’ll see roots!

That looks like a scindapsus pictus (not a pothos), but propagating is the same. Here’s a visual for you, when I propagate I usually do one leaf and one node into a small jar of water under a grow light. Best of luck!

Try watering the plant night prior (the least) to attempt to propagate

The plant is very dry. The leaves curl into a scroll when it gets desperate to conserve water. It will drop leaves. Additionally, the pot looks too big for one vine. Can get root rot from sitting in water too long. You can propagate as described above. I recommend after new roots grow that you start the cuttings in smaller 4 inch pots or less. Wait until the plant is almost root bound before repotting. Water when soil is almost dry and leaf slightly droops. Good luck. 🍀
