Does anyone know how to propagate properly from a velvet leaf philodendron as mine is looking a little thin on the ends and I’d like to cut it down!

Just simply cut a few nodes off and put them in some moss or water

I cut the longest legs that didn’t look healthy or had multiple dropped/wilted/browning leaves. Cut about 2 nodes further up (closer to plant) from where the stem starts looking healthy so the plant doesn’t strain to send nutrients to any new shoots after trimming. Many dropped leaves/browning/wilting on the same leg is a waste of your plant’s energy. I just chopped back mine a couple weeks ago and the new growth happened VERY quickly! (Still working on getting bigger leaves and bushier overall!)
