Hi, these baby plants have been growing in water for around 3 weeks. Would it be too early to pot them up?

They are ready for soil. You can propagate spider plants directly into soil if they have aerial roots and you don’t need to watch roots grow. They are very hardy. I add rooting hormone powder to the roots. I also add SuperThrive liquid plant vitamins to the water. I have success with using both to improve root growth. The picture shows my spider plants placed directly into old soil leftover from herbs in that were used up. The smallest is an Hawaiian variety.

thank you for your response. I will add some of my rooting hormone powder when I pot them which will hopefully improve their root growth

those spider babies look more than ready to be planted, like sunny said they are very hardy plants and will even propagate themselves. be sure the soil stays moist for the first few days and gradually reduce watering (let it dry out a bit more between each watering) and they should fill out the pot in no time, especially with added rooting hormone; spider plants are very fast growers in the right conditions.
