Is this cutting alright? How long does it normally take for plants to root in water? I’m new to propagating and I worry that I cut it from the wrong place. - I got the cutting from my friend, and put it in water on Saturday and we have done a bit of train traveling over the weekend. I’m also worried the change in environment might not help.

that’s a perfect cutting actually! depends on the plant for rooting speed though, but usually after a week or two i start seeing roots on propagations. the traveling probably stressed it out, but it should recover nicely :)

they root faster with bright light like the other person said, but never do direct, especially on a cutting. hope it all goes well!!!

What kind of lighting do you think is best for it? 👀

I have frosted windows & they love that diluted bright light!
