Hi! I'm new! How often should I be changing the water of the plants I'm propagating?

      i agree. i wash the container every time i change the water. i don’t know if that’s necessary but it’s helped prevent it from getting slimy

    Yes! Change it often, around once a week is ideal. If you wait too long, the water can become oxygen deprived and harm the root system.

    I have made the mistake of not changing the water for 2 weeks as I was away for a week longer than expected and when I came back there was green algae growing on the roots and about half of my cutting were rotted, thankfully the nodes further up out of the water were fine though.
