Having any root is good. Maybe it needs more light. Dip in rooting hormone powder and put it in soil. The soil mix should be well draining. I like a half succulent mix with half regular potting soil mix. Start with a 4 inch wide starter pot or disposable cup with drainage holes. Place in bright indirect light. Water about twice a week. Don’t overwater. It takes about 2-3 weeks to get noticeable roots. Add timed release fertilizer (Osmocote) cwith the next repotting. Spider plants are resilient. The littlest ones were pushed directly into the soil less than a week ago.
