Planty ThingsI was able to get some bulbs to sprout by putting them in a closed container with a little bit of water in bright, indirect light. Once they sprouted I put them into soil and now I have a baby Alocasia!

I placed them right into the soil like I do with my amaryllis .... will give them a few days and see
