To propagate or not to propagate! That is the question? First timer here! I guess my question is would you guys prop in water or prop in soil? And do I let the bottom of the leaf dry before I propagate? Any help is greatly appreciated! And ignore the puper bum in the photo, her names Nova and she decided she didnt want to move!

    I water propagate these guys. I personally don’t leave them to callus over first, but I suppose you can.

    I let them callous over now because when I didn’t I had one rot. Since you have so many id probably put some in soil and some in water! Water can take quite a while, like months and months. From what I’ve heard from other people soil propagation is faster.

      What is “callous over?”

      The plant grows a skin over the vulnerable part of the plant broken from the main one- waiting for the callous can reduce the risk of rot
