I am trying to propagate succulents this way. Is there any tip or things I need to know? I have never been successful in the past.

Mist the soil every once in a while, otherwise ignore them. And just lay them like you have them. I got a whole bunch and did this with them, about 75% survived and grew babies.

^ignore them is spot on … + patience

I was finally successful for the first time! The key is allowing the petals to callus on the ends before doing anything with them I believe. I let them sit in a time ceramic pot I made. Once they’ve done that you can place the way you have them. Mine are sitting on my balcony on a shelf getting plenty of indirect sun. I’ve probably misted mine like 2-3 times since they’ve been out there. They already have plenty of water in the petal that they take from. It’s maybe been a month and a half to 2 months now. I’m so proud of them!

I have only gotten that fuzzy one to grow in consistent humidity, unlike other succulent props. Try that one with a similar setup but in a plastic bag or takeout container. Mine liked moss. Happy growing!

Thank you I will do that!
1 me gustaI’ve tried this a few times. I’ve been most successful when I cover them in plastic wrap or a glass cup/bowl. Creating a mini greenhouse keeps the moisture in, and then you can basically ignore it. It takes a a while!
