Hello. I’m new to propagation but I’m loving it so much! I’ve added some pictures of my first two pothos, I propagated from my larger ones. I potted them last weekend and they’re already pushing new leaves! Also added a picture of my new clippings just recently started!

Gorgeous! How long did your pothos cuttings take to start rooting?

I wanna say maybe a week to start seeing small roots pop out and usually about 3-4 weeks to see an inch or two!

I have a mother Pothos & have propagated several cuttings in water. They all root well in water, but once I plant them into soil, they start dying. :( do you have any advice? (Soil, watering frequency, lighting, etc). Yours look great! Super jealous!

Hey sorry just seeing this! I recommend keeping the soil pretty wet/most for the first couple weeks as the transition from straight water to dry can we a little hard for them. As far as lighting goes I try to keep mine close to the same area they were in before moving to soil for a couple weeks as well. To many changes at once can definitely make for a sad plant! Hope this helps. Happy propagating! 🌱🩷
