How do i propagate a lace aloe from leaves that I’ve sort of almost killed. Is it possible?

I don’t believe any type of aloe is capable of propagating through leaves. These multiply through pups.

I saw something -and I’m trying it right now- where you cut off the leaves, let it callous and then stick it in dirt and water/mist when dry!

Yes, I’m trying that right now. I made a mistake of trying to bring it back to life by putting it in water. And I almost completely killed it🥴

I did the same thing! I thought I saw root and transferred to soil and then it got worse.

Haven’t heard of propagating lace aloe from a leaf, but I propagated mine by beheading it. Let it callus, dip in rooting hormone, lay it on soil, wait a month or two, and it’ll have roots. The original plant will sometimes make pups during this as well.
