my dad let me take a cutting from his snake plant, but it doesn’t seem to be growing roots. i think i’ve been trying to grow roots for about a month now. is this normal?

    I've heard it can take months

    Mine grew roots in a month because I put it with pothos cuttings which release natural rooting hormone. Try that!

      Seconded. Or tradescantia if you have that. Basically any fast growing vine plant, I think. Otherwise they can take months. And then even longer for a pup to form

    Mine took about 3 months to start growing roots in soil

    Mine took months in water. 3-4? And then once potted another 6 to make new plants.
