Hi friends! I could use some help. I got these cuttings from a plant store. They’re a little soft and I don’t notice any calluses. I’ve had them on my sill (west facing with some sunlight) since Saturday (for about 3 days). What do I do to properly propagate them?

Nothing! They can sit like that! Just make sure they have light!

You lay them on succulent soil. There’s different opinions about whether to water or not. Can’t advise because I’m just learning with succulents

And leave them for weeks to do their rooting without disturbing. Won’t transplant until the starter leaf is shriveled up completely dry. By then they’ll be strong enough to plant.

I’ve been propagating my jellybean plants and what I do is lay them on dry cactus soil and forget about them. Once you get roots put a small amount of water in front/ under them but don’t get the actual leaf wet because then it can rot. I hope this helps- I’ve only just gotten a teeny little root! ( my apartment is in shadow😆)

Thank you! I recently moved them to potting soil and dampened the soil a few days ago. Now they’re hanging out on top of the soil.
