So I am using perlite in a jar to propagate my cuttings. How and when do I water bc it will just sit in the bottom of the glass even though they have roots.

Really depends on what you’re propagating.

Some people like to wait till there is no water left I’m unfamiliar with propagating in just perlite tho so I can’t be for certain what’s the prop your doing?
좋아요 1개Well lucky bamboo and golden pothos. The bamboo has one root and the pothos has two

Proping lucky bamboo, is easy I have mine growing in water. Pothos as long as it has a node, I belive it should prop. Both should be fine if there’s barley any water, then I’d refill.

i wait until there is barely any water left at the bottom. i’ve propagated snake plants, pothos, monstera, spider plants, peperomia ‘hope’, and string of hearts this way. the snake plants and string of hearts i usually wait a few more days (until the perlite is mostly dry) since they’re succulent
