Trying to propagate some of these succulent leaves. About half have been in here for over a month… the other half I put in within the last week. I haven’t been watering them at all and yesterday I put them out in the hot sun for half the day. That’s when most turned brown… I read that drying them out first can work… Any advice? Are these ok? How do I get more consistent prop success? Thanks!!!

Honestly I just throw mine in direct light on my window and the root in about a week your props may not be getting enough light

Some of them do but also you don’t need to mist them the baby’s get all they need from the water already inside the leaves

Direct sunlight is bad for them. But them on window ledge (inside). Set on TOP of soil. Spray with water bottle e wry 2-3 days. Do not get soil soaked with spray. 2-3 spritz should do.

This is exact method I used on all of these (love the floors of nurseries).
