I’ve been propagating a Chinese evergreen in water. Two nodes have started growing roots and easily broken when I went to change water. Any insights? Am I doing something wrong? Are they generally weak roots? I’ve considered grabbing some rooting hormone and finishing the process that way.

    I have not been able to get Chinese evergreens to prop. I had two cuttings live, one in water and one in soil, for almost a year and they never grew roots. It was weird because the leaves stayed alive. But they didn’t grow new ones. I eventually gave up. But rooting hormone might help!
