Hi! I had propagated some golden pothos leaves about a month ago, I’ve been changing the water weekly if not every five days, but I don’t see any roots forming? I do occasionally see some brown slimy stuff on the leaves however (same thing on my spider plant, but my spider plant is fully thriving, pic bc I love her) so I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong? I’m totally new to this, so any help is greatly appreciated!

Make sure you propagate cuttings with nodes! Nodes are just where the leaves grow from, and where they will put off roots during propagation. Good job changing the water because that is super important, and if your impatient like me you can buy some rooting hormone to speed up the process. I bought mine at my local hardware store for like $6.00

I agree with Rian. These have nodes and have been in water since I cut them a week ago.
