This is Prince (Gynura aurantiaca; purple passion plant). He keeps getting too tall and lanky for my liking. So I am frequently trimming him down. As a result, I get multiple stem cuttings. These are four individual cuttings. I am amazed at their root growth!

Mine keep getting lanky as well. Is there a way to prevent that and encourage a more bushier growth? Or is lanky just how they grow?

It may be that they’re not getting enough sun. What I do now is pinch off the tops when they get too long. This will encourage bushier growth.

      I’ll try that. Thank you!

I’ve got one of these which has grown like crazy this summer, so I’m just about to do some cuttings. I was pleased to see they propagate really easily! They’re such pretty plants.
