Soooo I plant-napped two pieces of sweet potato vine today, about 10-12 inches in length. What’s the best way to get them going?

Yay!
1 LikeI have put cuttings directly into with some rooting hormone powder and a small amount of cow manure in top layer of soil. The pictures of the dark leafed cuttings show 3 weeks of growth. They all started as one node and two leaves. The light green plant in the hanging basket is the mother plant of the one in the pot. I took a 1 foot cutting and just push it into the large pot. Five weeks old. Fertilized once. Temps here are 95°F to 100°F+ the last month. I water them every day. They get morning Sun until about noon.
