When should I plant this baby? I bought it at Home Depot in the exact same propagation glass it’s in now, and it was thriving for weeks but now the new sprouts are turning brown and some of the leaves are turning yellow. I don’t know if it’s time to repot or what to do. I change the water around every week/week and a half I love this plant, and I don’t want to kill it and already seems like it’s suffering so bad. 😔

The roots look good! It might be that the stems are getting a bit to squished coming out of the top. Maybe some of the yellowing is poor "circulation." I would repot it. Adonsonii love to climb. Use potting soil and add leca or pearlite to make sure there's good drainage. Plop her in the pot and then use some bbq skewers or a chop stick and take a few of the longer stems and clip them to the "poles." Once the plant knows it can grow verticle. That baby will take off like you've never seen! Mine touches the ceiling now and I haven't had her a year yet. 👍

Bad pic but like this? I stuck a stick and clipped it to the highest growing healthy leaf.

Yeah. You can even clip a few together on the stick if others need to be propped up. Once it starts to want to climb, you may have to help it curl around the pole. Now you just wait... 😊

Check out fertilizer for hydroponics if you want to keep it in water ☺️
