I’ve had luck with propagating spider babies in water. Use a clear glass container because ones that aren’t clear tend to host more bacteria and don’t usually do well. I changed the water every 2-3 days and used filtered water. I also only had the water covering the nubby end that looks ready to sprout roots. Hope this helps. I received 8 babies from someone and was able to root all 8.

These guys are super easy to propagate. You can let them stay attached to the mother plant until they have grown substantial roots. This will increase the likelihood of survival. Then cut them off, pot them up, and voila! Baby spider!

i’d wait til those seed pods open, catch the seeds by wrapping it in organza and plant them immediately, spider plant seeds don’t store well. once the spiderette has grown a fair amount of aerial roots i chop them off and let them sit in water for a week or two (it doesn’t take long for them to grow sufficient roots) and then you can plant it with the seeds :-)
