A couple months ago I bought some beautiful Thai basil from the grocery store (for cooking) - I took a couple stems and soaked them for 2 weeks then when they started to root, I transplanted them. WOW. It needs to be thinned out a little right now and I had it in full sun southern exposure and noticed a little wilting so moved it to indirect today. Such a fun project and surprised it’s doing so well!

    I never knew! I have never had luck with those store-bought basil plants but this has been crazy.

    Looks awesome!!! Just to let you know, it’s best to trim the flowers off before they bloom. If you let Basil flower it will direct all of its energy into reproducing (flowering and creating seeds) and it will turn bitter. It’s also where we get the phrases ‘gone to seed’ and ‘nip it at the bud’ :) basil looks great!!
