Is my silver neon pothos telling me to propagate it? I’ve never see it start to grow roots like this out of water when still connected to mother plant, but these definitely look like more than just nodes to me. Thoughts??

Lots of my plants grow those, they’re just aerial roots. Nothing to worry about. It’s trying to climb and support itself. My philodendron micans grew a lot when I put it on a trellis.

It may be the aerial roots! Vining plants will send those out to attach to things like tree branches in the wild so they can reach the sun. If you get a moss pole or some other structure for the roots to latch onto, the plant will start to grow upwards. Here’s a picture as an example of what I mean, I don’t always explain things the best.

Definitely aerial roots. You can propagate if you like but this is typical. It needs a trellis.

if it’s next to a wall make sure it doesn’t root into the wall.. it can cause serious damage 😅
