Are my pothos cuttings rotting? If so, is there a way to save them? The nodes went from white to brown within a day or two

I know cinnamon is good for fungus. You could try sprinkling some on a paper towel and rolling the vines in it. Looks like they might be dead, though :/ Are you changing out the water every few days?

Shoot 😕 I am changing the water. The nodes took a long time to develop, until I added a root growth hormone. Maybe that’s a factor. I’ll try the cinnamon though!

My pothos cuttings often get a little brown but I’ve never had one die. I try to change the water either every other week or if it looks gross. I don’t fertilize them or give them any growth hormone. They look good to me!

I’ve propagated a ton of Pothos, and my roots always look like that in the water :) you can take them out and gently rinse them, and as long as they aren’t floppy or slimy, they should be okay!

Also, you don’t need that much water, just enough to cover the areas growing roots, like this
