I am wanting to propagate my lucky bamboo. How tall the the leaves need to be?

    See that little baby offshoot growing? Wait until it gets about 6” long, then cut it closest to the mother plant as you can. Trim all leaves but the top two and either place it in water to root or if you want it in soil, put some rooting hormone on it first. Good luck!

      Do I have to have a rooting hormone for this to work? Will it root in regular water?
