I'm new to propagating and was curious if anyone has propagated an Elephant Bush. How would I propagate this plant?

I just cut a piece off and stuck it in soil. It’s been doing okay so far. It’s been about 3 weeks.

Like Anna said you can try just placing cuttings in soil, usually it’s a good idea to let the cuttings form a callous first on succulents. So cut it with sterile shears and sit it aside for a week or so before putting it either directly in soil or into a small jar with water. If doing the water method, wait until it has significant roots before transferring to soil. If sticking directly into soil, you may increase your chances of success by dipping it in rooting hormone and keeping the new plant extra warm. I find when I have a heating mat until my cuttings they root crazy fast. I’ve propagated this plant both ways and had successes and failures both ways, in general it’s a pretty easy plant to propagate. In my experience it roots faster in water but really either way is fine.
