So I got a clipping of this lovely plant and it wasnāt a clean cut (ripped off plant) and after a few days looked slimy at the bottom of nodeā¦ so I chopped off the damaged bottom of node and started fresh (added some plant food to water this time) will she make it?? Why are the leaves doing this? š„²š„²
Iād also trim of that lowest leaf. Give you more stem and roots will likely sprout from that lowest node. š

Iāve had that issue and I would change my water every other day and just rinse the stem gently and all was well.

I was wondering if I could propagate my Chinese evergreen! Iāll have to try it. Iāve only propagated two of my plants, and I always feel slightly guilty for chopping off part of my plant š
