I have this plant that I’m pretty sure is a Echeveria ‘Perle Von Nürnberg‘ and these two leaves that broke off and I want to propagate them. I have done this in the past with soil but I was wondering if it was better to do this in water? Or is soil better?

I think in water it will rot real fast.

Yup just lay it on some moist-dry soil and let it dry between watering. I use a pot tray for this so it can dry out. Give it a few months - these little sprouts were like 2 months in

Yes, this worked for me…just lie it on the soil and keep it moist. This plant is the result of 2 leaves found at the garden center a while back!
