hi! I was wondering if and how to propagate this plant. It isn’t really the most healthy because i don’t have a bigger pot for it lol. Hense the wanting to propagate. I believe it’s a molded wax agave. Is it possible to propagate the leaves? If so, how would i do that? Thanks so much! :)
Hey. If you have a dollar store close to you, that could be a really great and cheap place to get a pot. Your plant needs somewhere to “stretch” out it roots and it is really important for the plant that it gets space to do that! It is like when you wake up in the morning the first things (or one of the first things) you do is to stretch and it feels so good (in my opinion). That is what the roots want to do, but if you don’t have a bigger pot for the plant to live in, it dose not get the chance/space to do that.

You can very easily propagate these by picking off a leaf, letting the wound callous over, then potting in cactus soil, or putting the calloused end in a small amount of water. And btw this is an echeveria :)
좋아요 1개 Propagate by twisting a leaf off then just put it in dirt and there is no need to water the dirt you will see tiny roots and eventually a Rosette start to form when the mother leaf is completely dry then separate it from the rosette and water the rosette thoroughly and there you have it
