Trying to see if this guy will grow new roots. I’ve had him four years but this year was tough on him for some reason. I cut away all the rotten roots and took some leaves for propagation. Should I put this guy in water or soil? Or is he a lost cause?

I’ve done the same thing with my snake plant but it already had some roots… it did grow new ones tho. 🤷‍♀️ I’d say go for it! :)

I had one recently and it rotted and I to take it apart sadly because it came apart itself. I place what was left of the it in water a few days ago. Hopefully I see some roots. Fingers crossed so sad it rotted made me sad

I recently did an experiment of snake plant cuttings and the one that was in water with a pothos did the best! Good luck

Wait a minute… You’re saying I have to put it in some water….with a different plant; Pothos That sounds crazy to me :-) but that’s what I’m going to do with my snake plant today as I have a big chunk to pull out of a pot too. I’m pretty sure I have pothos
