I’ve got some healthy roots establishing in water and some seem ready to transfer to another medium. It’s my first time and I’m petrified of losing them all in the process. Mostly pothos (snow queen and marble queen), a couple red maranta and peperomia raindrop. Any tips or tricks? Thank you in advance!! 🪴🌱💕

    I saw a TikTok not long ago that said to add soil to the water in small increments, that water props have water roots and they’re too fragile for soil. I have several props that were fine just transferring straight into soil, but I’m trying my rose prop this way because I desperately want it to survive lol

    You could opt to transfer them to Pon (thin roots) or Leca (thick roots) which is semi-hydro. This would be the perfect time and way to transition them to that as opposed to from soil to Pon. Since they are already used to the water. Do a search on YouTube for transitioning plants to Pon & you will get a better understanding why this is best!

      Oh, I will look into this. I’ve heard of leca but haven’t heard of pon before. I’ll definitely look into it. Thank you!!
