Hello, im new at owning house plants and I have cuttings for a heartleaf philodendron and I want to know how long does it take for it to grow roots. I just put them in water to propagate today btw. any tips for me would be nice!

    Anywhere from a week to several weeks to a month! Keep the water fresh, change it out once a week or if it looks murky or you see fuzz growing on the stem. Also, don’t submerge any leaves, they’ll rot! Happy propagating! ♥️

    The more light and heat they get, the faster they’ll root! I have all my props on a south facing window sill and they take anywhere from 3-7 weeks to root.

    Yes, they do better with room temperature water, rather than hot or cold.
