I have some snake plant cuttings in water and in a south facing window for 2 weeks now… but no sign of any roots. Has anyone had any luck propagating a snake plant?

I’ve heard that putting these in soil is the way to go. Good luck!

I’ve rooted snake plants in water using some rooting hormone. It takes about six weeks before you see the first roots, but they grow pretty quickly afterwards.
4 LikesI started rooting my snake plant in water on May 1st. Two days ago, on May 29th, I got so excited because one has finally started sprouting 2 little roots. I’m not a very patient person so I was constantly pulling them out every day checking for roots 😂. Make sure you change your water occasionally and just wait!

Just be patient is the key. Once, it took MONTHS to sprout roots.
