I was gifted this begonia. It has been in this container for a few weeks and it’s finally rooting. How long do I wait to transplant it in soil? Also, the stem looks too long. Can I trim it down without affecting it? This is my first begonia.

    Trim the stem down to the node and you put it In Soil once it starts to root and has some nice roots even if you want you can leave it in the water until it dies hope this helps

      Thank you. Since I posted this, it has made a lot of roots near the top end of the stem. I’ll trim the stem as you suggested.
