   I would wait a little bit. Just let it grow a bit under half the size of the mother plant before taking it out.

   Let it grow (until the pup has a good enough root system), cut about 1/3 of the thick rhizome and then repot it. There’s plenty of YouTube video’s on it too!

   I’d leave it. I’m not touching any of my dracena until they’re busting out of the pot.
