This was my first attempt at propagating a snake plant. But it’s been almost 3 months without anything happening. Isn’t that longer than it’s supposed to take? 🤔 I switch the water once a week and have wiped off any slime jic. Any suggestions?

Try putting it in soil. I recently did that with my snake as it didn’t work in water. Now after a week it’s growing!

Thanks. I’ll give that a try.

Yes, that’s the right way to do it !

Mine took a long time! Make sure they are right side up (I read that if you put them in upside down, they will not root)

Yeah. I had to experiment with the right amount of water for them to start right side up and not float. 🤣

      That’s true too.

Rooting powder might make it grow faster if you haven’t tried that!

Mine take a long while to root in water too.
