this guy had lots of roots after letting it grow in water for a month or so, so i planted him, but a couple of the leaves began to drop. the drooping leaves are yellow, red, and soft. i don’t think it’s an issue with the light because the middle leaves look fine. the leaves had begun to droop a bit while it was in water, so i thought i should plant it because i assumed it wasn’t getting the nutrients it needed from just water or something like that. could it just be stress from repotting? any advice would be great 😊

it might be that the soil is too tight around the roots. since its transitioning, it needs more oxygen since the water was full of it. try taking a bamboo stick and aerating the soil.

if i don’t have a bamboo stick, would a normal stick from outside work?

just something thin that can create air will work. but nothing too sharp to cut the roots. (i have used a coffee stirrer before lol)
