Hi my bamboo only has this one stem, if I cut and prop do you think it will work? The one side has been cut for a year and has had no regrowth but I want to try to get some smaller branches as it is getting very tall

    Or can I cut inbetween the leafy stem?

    Don’t take my word for it because I haven’t done this in so long but normally I just snap off one of the buds let it callous for about a day and then pull off some of the leaves really close to where the end of the bud is and then just stick it in soil and don’t water it for a few days until it’s completely calloused over on the bottom and then very very little water in the soil. I don’t even bury mine in the soil. I just stick it on top soil.

    It usually works as long as there’s at least one or two nodes (recommending two)
