I’ve tried several times to grow herbs from seed, but every time I water the pressure from the water knocks them over like this. I poked holes in a plastic water bottle top to make it a weaker stream, but still this is how they end up every time. Any suggestions??

Bottom water. Fill the tray with water about 1/4 of the way up. Let the peat pots soak water until the top of the soil is damp. Then, drain the water from the tray.

I second the bottom watering. Misting works well too

Bottom water is a game changer for tiny plants. Drown that tray and let them slurp hehe

Bottom water and put humidity domes on those babies. They need the moisture/humidity to keep growing a getting strong. When they are bigger and more dense they will create their own little atmosphere and humidity. But little guys get toasted easily.
